The year 2025 saw the completion of all work undertaken since 2009 in the church of Tocqueville, with the restoration of the choir stalls. And, on 5 July, a beautiful inauguration and blessing ceremony was held by His Grace Grégoire Cador, Bishop of Coutances.
In 2026, after a few months’ break, it is planned to resume work with the restoration of the north and west portals of the church, as well as the door and windows of the sacristy. To this end, a new tripartite agreement will be drawn up between the municipality, the Association and the” Fondation du Patrimoine”, which has been supporting us for 16 years now.
The volunteers from the Association and the local area, who have worked hard during this period, will undoubtedly be called upon once again. We would like to thank them in advance, as well as all those who, through their donations, either directly to the Association or via the” Fondation du Patrimoine”, are helping to finance the work.
